Saint Paul Ice Palace & Winter Carnival

Product Description

In the late 1880’s Harper’s Weekly described St. Paul, Minnesota as a desolate tundra where the winters were long and dreary. To counter this observation, the capital city created the St. Paul Winter Carnival. This is a reproduction of the very first poster for this now venerable event. Illustration of the Saint Paul Ice Palace and a snow shoe are featured.

This fine art print measures 10×24″, and is reproduced on acid free paper using museum grade archival inks (not to be confused with inferior offset prints which fade and yellow over time).

A perfect gift for the Minnesota enthusiast in your life.
