Description
In the late 1880’s Harper’s Weekly described Saint Paul, Minnesota, as a desolate tundra where the winters were long and dreary. To counter this observation, the capital city created the St. Paul Winter Carnival. This is a reproduction of the very first poster for this now venerable event. Illustration features a reveler on a toboggan with fireworks in the background.
This fine art print measures 10×24″, and is reproduced on acid free paper using museum grade archival inks (not to be confused with inferior offset prints which fade and yellow over time).
A perfect gift for the Minnesota enthusiast in your life.
