Lafayette Club, Minnetonka Beach, 1914

The grandaddy of Lake Minnetonka clubs.

This image shows the approach to the Lafayette Club on Lake Minnetonka in Minnesota as it looked in the early 1900’s. Built by railroad magnate James J. Hill in the late 1800’s, it was replaced by the present Art Deco building in the 1920’s.

This fine art print measures 13×19″, and is reproduced on acid free paper using museum grade archival inks (not to be confused with inferior offset prints which fade and yellow over time). It would make a perfect gift for the Minnesota enthusiast in your life.
