Radisson Hotel, Christmas Lake 1906

A charming hotel with a colorful history

Early 1900’s view of the favorite Christmas Lake, Minnesota getaway. But, don’t let the charming appearance of this rural retreat fool you. It was operated as an underground speakeasy and gambling hall during prohibition, attracting mobsters and riff-raff from all over the Midwest. It was finally consumed by fire in 1936.

This fine art print measures 13×19″, and is reproduced on acid free paper using museum grade archival inks (not to be confused with inferior offset prints which fade and yellow over time). It would make a perfect gift for the Minnesota enthusiast in your life.
